第一次住房子,过节都要给谁小费? 查看原帖

以前都是住公寓,有了会爬的小宝宝,今年才搬入独立房子。

过节了,不知道都需要给什么人小费。收垃圾的要给吗?给多少?

楼主家就是普通生活,没有什么特别多的垃圾,包裹之类的。给小费就是随个大流,不想突兀。

中国人就是爱客气,给礼物的事情不用有任何压力,除非你是真的非常感谢人家,不然为了所谓的习俗,让自己更别扭。所以和你住哪儿没关系,MM放轻松啊。

我们家谁也不给。收垃圾的根本见不到,呼啸而来,呼啸而去。曾经在信箱里给邮差放过一份小礼物,过了三四天人家都没拿走。其他的什么ups,Fedex,也是摁了门铃之后就秒gone,最多能追上去看到一个背影,赶紧大喊一声thank you。或许不一样的州情况也不一样吧,反正在德州,基本上都这样吧?

ups 到holiday很多临时工, 给了都不知道给谁手里了。邮递员是固定的, 我每年送点小礼物。

过节就是图个高兴,有钱愿意给就给,有钱没钱不愿意给就不给,我一般给Postman和UPS礼物,因为我家网购特别多,Postman和UPS大叔都认识我们,有时候东西还挺沉的,UPS过节期间有很多临时帮忙的,所以我一般节前给或是节后给那个Regular来送东西的。

住house不用给. 反正我压根找不到人给,都是上班时间把各种包裹扔我家门口,收垃圾的一大清早我还没出门可能已经收好了,压根不知道都是谁谁谁。住公寓倒是确实应该tip doorman啥的

RE 这个。他/她们个个不都有工资吗? 我问了好多老美,没几个有给的。看来还是我们中国人大方,再说了,这又不是去餐馆吃饭一定要给小费。

一样的,我家也是给了邮递员和ups大叔。主要是网购多,都认识了。而且东西沉的时候,人家还帮我搬进屋子里。我挺感激的。
不过如果没到这种程度,我也同意没必要给。
